Dormimy
About

A small team that knows how dorms actually run

Dormimy is built by TexIT Software. We are few, and we intend to stay that way: we don't ship a feature before we understand how the work is really done on site.

Our approach

Three principles, not a long list.

Every product decision gets checked against these three.

One job: dorm management

Dormimy is not general-purpose management software. It speaks the vocabulary of a dormitory — you are not adapting a tool designed for some other industry.

  • Building, floor, room, bed and bunk level are first-class concepts, not workarounds.

  • Academic term, contract, instalment and deposit are wired to each other.

We claim only what exists

Every feature sentence on this site has a working counterpart in the panel. We don't sell what we haven't built as “coming soon”.

  • A capability that isn't verified in the panel doesn't make it onto this site.

  • The roadmap follows what users need; it is not a list of promised dates.

Traceable records, your data

Dorm data is sensitive: student details, payment history, disciplinary records. Who did what, and when, has to stay visible after the fact.

  • Critical actions — bed assignment, contract termination, room transfer — leave an audit trail.

  • This marketing site runs no tracking cookies and no analytics.

Story

How we got here

Dormimy didn't start from a feature list. It started on a day when the spreadsheets stopped being enough.

  1. 01

    Where spreadsheets give out

Dorm management starts in a single file. As student numbers grow, which bed is free, whose instalment is late and which contract has ended drift into separate files. The problem was never missing software — it was records that couldn't see each other.

  2. 02

    The structure came first

The first thing we built wasn't a screen, it was the dorm's own hierarchy: building, floor, room, bed. Contracts, billing and daily operations were layered on top — so what you enter once isn't asked again by the next module.

  3. 03

    Today

The panel works, and we're getting ready to launch with our first dorms. You won't find impressive numbers or a customer list here — we'd rather say too little than claim what isn't there.
